The Works Cited page is generated from the
translation memory: every segment of the Śikṣāsamuccaya that quotes another
work carries a QuoteSource naming it, and the list is the sum of
those tags.
That makes the list only as complete as the tagging. This page records what the tagging appears to have missed — works the curators recorded in the hand-written list that the segment data does not attribute to anything.
It is a findings page, not a task list. Each row is a question for a curator, not a defect to be fixed mechanically.
Where the list stands
The alignment now attributes 358 quotations across 78 works. That is up
from 61 works: QuoteSource became a page property in September
2026, and the count is no longer limited to works carrying an RKTS catalogue
number. The 17 works that had no number are now included on equal terms.
Every one of the Śikṣāsamuccaya's 633 quote segments carries a source. There are no untagged quotations left in the alignment — so anything missing from the list is a question of attribution, not of unmarked text.

What we need from you
For each work above, one of three things is true, and only a curator can say which:
- The passage is in the text but tagged to a different source. The attribution needs correcting on the segment.
- The passage is in the text but was never marked as a quote. The segment needs
SegmentFormat=Quoteand aQuoteSource. - The identification was provisional. The hand-written list recorded a probable source that the alignment work did not confirm.
Case 3 is not a defect. The hand-written list was built from scholarship, and an identification that the segmentation does not bear out is worth recording as such rather than quietly dropping.
