| English | And so it goes that those with immature minds get mixed up in (pratyanubhavānti) all kinds of trouble, lost in saṃsāra owing to their mistaken (viparīta) attachment to entities that lack an inherent nature. Thus, having reoriented oneself towards great compassion itself, one should resolve, “I will act in such a way that once I have obtained omniscience I would reveal their true nature (dharmatā).” Then having performed offerings and hymns of worship to all the Buddhas and bodhisattvas, one should offer the prayer of the noble Bhadracaryā. On that basis, one advances in the full acquisition of the requisite of [knowledge and] merit beginning with generosity, of which the womb is emptiness and compassion. Thus the noble Dharmasaṃgīti states: |
