A being is designated based on the six elements, yet there is no being or person in each of the elements, like the earth. A being is also not the collective, “nor all of them.” The last line states that a being is not found elsewhere than them, either. It says in our text here as well, [IX.57] The teeth, hair, and nails are not the self . . . 9.57 It likewise states how there is no self or person to be found in each of the six elements, [755] their collection, or elsewhere. If you understand the way that a person is conceptually designated, then you can understand that all phenomena are like this, as in the above citations from the Condensed Perfection of Wisdom and the Precious Garland.
