English

The previous passages showing that a buddha’s gnosis does not have an object, and most of the arguments for these types of claims, are stated merely in terms of the way that an object is cognized. Each of the gnoses that knows what is and whatever there is sees all objects of knowledge. Nevertheless, from the perspective of knowing what is, the gnosis that knows what is does not see whatever there is. Also, from the perspective of knowing whatever there is, the gnosis that knows whatever there is does not see what is. This is said to be the meaning.
