English

One might wonder how then it is established. The existence of this experience is established based on evidence: consider a visual cognition apprehending blue; it has an experiencer because there is a cognition that remembers its existence. After a visual cognition sees blue, there is a memory of seeing a blue object. The memory of an object is the result of having experienced an object. The experiencer of the object is an other object-awareness with respect to a visual cognition that sees blue. The memory “I saw it” is a memory of a subject, which is the result of having experienced being a subject. The experiencer of the subject is self-awareness with respect to a visual cognition that sees blue.
