English	These are explained as provisional in meaning due to having a basis in another intention, having a purpose, and explicit invalidation of the literal meaning. The basis in another intention is its intending merely the conventional existence of forms and so on. The purpose is to teach merely a coarse selflessness of persons to progressively train the minds of those who are, for the time being, not suitable receptacles for the teaching of the subtle selflessness. Thereby, they are progressively led to the subtle selflessness. Explicit invalidation of the literal meaning is found in arguments negating anything existing on its own. The middle wheel asserts that phenomena are merely conventionally existent, having refuted any phenomenon that exists on its own. This is the consummate definitive meaning taught to those of extremely sharp faculties, those disciples with the heritage of the Mahāyāna who can understand the meaning of emptiness as dependent arising.

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment.
