Nevertheless, the meanings of these examples are not the same in terms of the status of conventional existence because there is a difference as to whether an affirmed designation is undermined or not by a conventional source of knowledge. Thus, it is said that since the difference in the status of the existence of these two cannot be distinguished from the side of the object itself, one must draw a fine line by means of differentiating whether or not it is undermined by another conventional cognition. This has been said again and again to be a consummate essential point of the Prāsaṅgika view that is difficult to understand. |
