English

This is how four problems result if the two truths were the same, and not divisible even conceptually. To illustrate this with something like a pot, if a pot and the pot’s emptiness of true existence were conceptually the same, there would be four problems. It would absurdly follow that (1) the aspect of ultimate truth, the pot’s emptiness of true existence, would be an object perceived by ordinary beings; (2) afflictions like attachment would arise when perceiving the emptiness of the true existence of a pot; (3) it would not be necessary for yogis to strive to ascertain the emptiness of the true existence of a pot that is different from a perception of a pot; and (4) the emptiness of the true existence of a pot would also have phenomenal features like shape and color.
