Buddhist Mahayana Texts, edited and translated by E.B. Cowell, F. Max Müller, and J. Takakusu, is Volume 49 of the Sacred Books of the East series. Originally published in 1894 by Clarendon Press, it includes foundational early English translations of key Sanskrit and Chinese Mahayana scriptures.

Amitabhavyuha Sutra (Skt. Amitābhavyūhasūtra; Tib. འོད་དཔག་མེད་ཀྱི་བཀོད་པའི་མདོ།, Wyl. 'od dpag med kyi bkod pa'i mdo), which is also known as the "longer" Sukhavativyuha Sutra (Skt. Sukhāvatīvyūhasūtra), gives a detailed description of the Sukhavati pure realm of Buddha Amitabha. The teaching takes place on Vulture's Peak Mountain near Rajagriha. (Source Accessed May 25, 2023)

Part. II, (1-203) The larger Sukhâvatî-vyûha, the smaller Sukhâvatî-vyûha, the Vagrakkhedikâ, the larger Pragñâ-pâra-mitâ-hridaya-sûtra, the smaller Pragñâ-pâramitâ-hridaya-sûtra, translated by F. Max Müller. The Amitâyur-dhyâna-sûtra, translated by J. Takakusu.
