Description
This is La Vallée Poussin's partial translation of the Bodhicaryāvatāra into French. "Bodhicaryāvatāra: Introduction à la pratique de la sainteté bouddhique (bodhi)" is a translation of the Sanskrit of chapters I, II, III, IV and X. It was published in Le Muséon 11 (1892): 68–82; 87–109. Anther partial translation, consisting of chapter 5, was later published in 1896. This was followed by a complete translation in 1907.
