Description A prominent sixteenth-century Kagyu scholar whose best-known composition was the Chöjung Khepai Gatön (Chos 'byung khas pa'i dga' ston), or Scholars Feast, a history of Buddhism in India and Tibet, as well as the history of the Karma Kagyu tradition. He is also famous for a massive commentary (975 folios) on the Bodhicaryāvatāra, which is still the standard for Karma Kagyu commentaries.
Description Tibetan དུས་རབས་བཅུ་དྲུག་པའི་བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་པའི་མཁས་པ་གྲགས་ཅན་ཞིག་ཡིན་ལ། ཁོང་གི་བརྩམས་ཆོས་གྲགས་ཆེ་ཤོས་ནི་《ཆོས་འབྱུང་ཁས་པའི་དགའ་སྟོན་》ཡིན་ཞིང་། དེའི་ནང་རྒྱ་གར་དང་བོད་ཀྱི་ནང་ཆོས་ལོ་རྒྱུས་དང་། དེ་བཞིན་ཀརྨ་བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་པའི་ལོ་རྒྱུས་བཅས་འཁོད་ཡོད། ཁོང་ནི་《བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་སྤྱོད་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པའི་》འགྲེལ་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གི་རྩོམ་པ་པོ་ཡང་ཡིན་ལ། དེ་ནི་ད་ལྟའང་ཀརྨ་བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་པའི་འགྲེལ་པ་ཚད་ལྡན་ཞིག་ཏུ་བརྩི་བཞིན་ཡོད།
