Description A prominent sixteenth-century Kagyu scholar whose best-known composition was the Chöjung Khepai Gatön (Chos 'byung khas pa'i dga' ston), or Scholars Feast, a history of Buddhism in India and Tibet, as well as the history of the Karma Kagyu tradition. He is also famous for a massive commentary (975 folios) on the Bodhicaryāvatāra, which is still the standard for Karma Kagyu commentaries.
