The definition of the future is the aspect of what has not yet arisen due to conditions not being fully present even though there is a cause for the production of another entity. The definition of the present is held to be that which has arisen but has not ceased, and is not any aspect of another entity’s future or disintegration. To illustrate this with something like a sprout, the past time of the sprout is the disintegration in the second instant of the sprout that had arisen. The future time of the sprout is that which has not yet arisen due to conditions not being fully present even though there is a cause for the production of the sprout. The present sprout is the sprout itself that has arisen but has not ceased.
