| English | Hey, children of the Victors! For example, a son who is born in the ruling caste and is the son of the king has the king’s name. By merely being born he has the king’s blessing that outshines the entire host of ministers, but this is not due to his mental power of discrimination. When he comes of age, his developed mental powers completely surpass all the activities of the ministers. Hey, children of the Victors! Likewise, this is the case for bodhisattvas. As soon as they generate the spirit of awakening, the immensity of their superior intention outshines all the Disciples and Self-Realized Ones. Yet this is not due to their mental powers of discrimination.
