English	Thus, citing either of the two kinds of memory as evidence is not a correct reason for establishing self-awareness. The former memory established on its own has the shortcoming of not being established; and the latter memory in its mundane, conventional use has the shortcoming of no entailment. The evidence of a later memory establishes merely that a previous cognition was experienced; it does not establish self-awareness. This is because, being an experience is undetermined as either a self-experience or an other-experience according to the assertions of both Sautrāntikas and proponents of Mind-Only.

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others.
