English	Proponents of Mind-Only assert the intrinsic existence of cognition without apprehender-apprehended duality. Yet without being apprehended by a source of knowledge to establish it, it is not reasonable to say that it exists. When asked the question of what source of knowledge there is for knowing this, they respond that knowing this is not apprehending another object; it exists because it is apprehended by self-awareness. [710] In response to this, there is a similar teaching on how self-awareness is refuted.

Cittamātra - Though it is sometimes used synonymously with Yogācāra, it is in fact one of the more prominent philosophical theories associated with this school. Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment.
