On this, a sūtra says: “There are no phenomena in the absence of causes and conditions.”505chos nyid read chos. The Inquiry of Anavatapta reads: “There are no phenomena (chos) in the absence of causes and conditions.” Both editions of Künzang Sönam’s text, however, read chos nyid rather than chos.
