It is likewise extremely difficult to draw the line in this system between not the slightest thing being accepted to exist objectively, which is the object of negation, and all conventions being established by a source of knowledge upon that which is merely nominally designated. Therefore, it is necessary to find certainty in the way that the framework of dependent arising is reasonable within that which is empty of intrinsic nature. Otherwise, it does not make sense for the two truths to be separated and have varying degrees of value. When either of the two truths is lost, it is like falling to the extremes of permanence and annihilation. It is like one who falls to ruin. If neither of the two truths is lost, and they are a unity, then it will be as if the two accumulations are perfected at the time of the path, and the two embodiments of buddhahood attained at the time of the fruition. |
