Realists and Svātantrika-Mādhyamikas dispute this by saying, “If this were the case there would be no place for any phenomena. Conventional truth also becomes nonexistent even though you say that all phenomena do not ultimately exist, but conventionally do. Thus, your system does not have two truths.” To resolve these objections, there are two parts: (1) explaining the reason for the opponent’s objection and (2) showing that these problems do not apply to the Prāsaṅgika system. |
