| English | By contrast, when the Prāsaṅgikas teach, they emphasize the nonfigurative ultimate in itself (rnam grangs ma yin pa’i don dam), the great Madhyamaka, free from all assertion. Their fundamental concern is the examination of the ultimate, and they do not propound existence according to characteristics, even on the conventional level. Instead, they establish all appearances as being beyond all reference and conceptual elaboration—in accordance with the experience of holy beings in meditative equipoise.
