The defilements that need to be abandoned are abandoned by the antidote which is the understanding of their lack of inherent nature through the analytical eye of wisdom. uprooting the seed itself. If the seed itself is uprooted, nothing can return. Therefore, by separating the enemies that are the defilements from my mind and completely abandoning them, they have no place to go and no place to dwell, so they cannot return to cause future harm. The only thing that is lacking is that my mind is weak, and I lack analytical meditation as an antidote. If I had these, the defilements would be easier to conquer than any other enemies because they do not have any inherent nature.
