English	As it is said in the Prajnaparamita-sutra (that is, the Abhisamayalankara), "Those who seek the peace of Shravakas are guided to perfect peace by omniscience itself.”117kun shes, or omniscience, the knowledge of all things (i.e., the truth of suffering, the truth of origin, the five skandhas, etc.), refers here to the wisdom that realizes the absence of self in everything. Accordingly, the Bodhisattvas, who know the paths of the three vehicles, set forth the ways of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas for those who, being of medium scope, belong to such lineages, and who, tormented and wearied by sorrows, wander long upon the pathways of existence. It is thus that the Bodhisattvas put an end to the suffering of existence. Bodhichitta is therefore like an excellent tree that, with the coolness of its shade, gives rest to those who are exhausted by suffering. Indeed, even the resultant achievement [the nirvana or cessation] of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas arises thanks to the power of bodhichitta.

Prajñāpāramitā - A class of Mahāyāna sūtras which represents some of the earliest known literature of this genre of Buddhism. There are around forty texts associated with this category, though the most widespread is the exceedingly brief Prajñāpāramitāhṛdayasūtra, popularly known as the Heart Sūtra. This class of literature is typically associated with the second turning of the dharma wheel and especially with the teachings on emptiness (śūnyatā). As such, these texts were the primary scriptural source for the philosophy of the Madhyamaka school. Skt प्रज्ञापारमिता  Tib ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་;ཤེར་ཕྱིན་  Ch 般若波羅蜜多
