English

This body I have now resigned

To serve the pleasure of all living beings. Let them ever kill, despise, and beat it,

Using it according to their wish.

Shantideva declares that he has given his body away to all beings (as infinite in number as the sky is vast) so that they may use it as they please. Let them forever kill it, slander it, beat it with sticks and stones, or do whatever else they wish.
