| English | The Bodhicharyavatara was composed in the well-ordered language of Sanskrit. While yet extant in the noble land of India, it was rendered into Tibetan during the early translation period by the great Indian scholar Sarvajnadeva and Kawa Peltsek, the Tibetan monk who was its translator and editor in chief.
