English	May the poor and destitute find wealth, The haggard and the careworn, joy. May those now in despair be whole in mind, Endowed with sterling constancy. May those who are poor and destitute (who suffer the result of the residual karma of robbery and stealing) have perfect wealth: gold, silver, horses, and elephants. On the other hand, the poverty of those who wish for many things and are never contented with what they have is even worse than the penury of those who have nothing. An example of this— and it is indeed the worst kind of poverty—is given in the story about a poor but noble man who came upon a precious jewel.
