You admit to be the Buddha’s perfect speech, Why don’t you now accept the greater part of Mahāyāna,

With which your sūtras are in perfect harmony?109According to the Sanskrit commentary of Prajñākaramati, stanzas 49 to 51 have been misplaced and are not in their correct position. According to the commentary of Gyalse Thogme Zangpo, they could be inserted between verses 43 and 44. Here we have followed the positioning of Kunzang Pelden and Mipham Rinpoche.

We will now consider other objections raised by the Shravakas against the authenticity of the Mahayana scriptures. They say that the teachings on higher mental training are found in the sutras; that those that deal with training in discipline are found in the Vinaya; and that there is no contradiction between those that expound the training in wisdom and the authentic Abhidharma.
