English	Because of our attachment to our bodies, Even little things alarm us. This body, then, this source of so much terror— Who would not detest it as the worst of foes? Because of our attachment to our bodies, we are terrified by even little things like bees and meat flies, let alone things that are really terrifying. This body of ours is the occasion of so much fear both now and in our future existences! What intelligent person would not resent it as the worst of enemies? It would make more sense to hate it instead of being so attached to it!

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment.
