This book is based on the teachings of the Guhyagarbha that Khenchen Palden Sherab and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche gave in the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center (PBC) temple of Palm Beach Dharma Center in West Palm Beach, Florida in January of 2005. The appendices contain a Tibetan recension and English translation of the root text, Garland of Views (མན་ངག་ལྟ་བའི་ཕྲེང་བ།, man ngag lta ba'i phreng ba), translated by H.E. Khempo Yurmed Tinly Rinpoche and Robert Warren Clark.

The Tibetan text of the མན་ངག་ལྟ་བའི་ཕྲེང་བ། (man ngag lta ba'i phreng ba) is No. 4726 in Vol. 83 of the bsTan ’gyar (The Tibetan Tripitaka), Tokyo, 1965. It is also found in Vol. 1, pp. 17-27 of the gdams ngag mdzod, Paro: 1979-1981 (TBRC Resource Code: W24519). A reprint was produced by Tarthang Kunga Gelek. (p. 238 n. 1)
