In fact, he deals with this qualm and teaches in such a way that the position of his own (Prāsaṅgika) tradition is abundantly clear. How then are we to understand him? The view of Chandrakīrti himself is explicitly stated to the effect that the Shrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas do indeed have a realization of emptiness but only with regard to the mere conditioned nature of phenomena. However, whereas their habituation to the phenomenal no-self is incomplete, it is asserted nonetheless that they do possess a complete realization of the personal no-self,140That is, a complete realization of both the imputed and innate view of the transitory collection, which is the source of samsara. which is precisely the means whereby the defilements that bring about the entire three worlds of samsara are eliminated. This teaching of his demonstrates with certainty what was previously explained. Therefore any confusing doubts concerning Chandrakīrti’s position are radically resolved.

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment. The Mahāyāna sūtras including those on buddha-nature generally have bodhisattvas as the main audience or interlocutors for the Buddha's discourses. Skt बोधिसत्त्व  Tib བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ།  Ch 菩薩

Pratyekabuddha - Pratyekabuddhas are saints who, in their last birth in the cycle of existence, are said to become enlightened through solitary practice on the nature of dependent ordination. Āvaraṇa - Literally, that which obscures or conceals. Often listed as a set of two obscurations (sgrib gnyis): the afflictive emotional obscurations (Skt. kleśāvaraṇa, Tib. nyon mongs pa'i sgrib pa) and the cognitive obscurations (Skt. jñeyāvaraṇa, Tib. shes bya'i sgrib pa).
