Pamela Gayle White

Pamela Gayle White has taught in Europe and the Americas, and is one of the Bodhi Path and Dhagpo mandala translators and interpreters. She also writes, and is a contributing editor at Tricycle, the Buddhist Review. Pamela completed her training as an interfaith chaplain in Philadelphia and central Virginia, and has worked in hospitals and hospices in both areas. (Source Accessed Aug 27, 2021)

Bodhi - Enlightenment or awakening. In Tibetan it is translated as "purified" (byang) and "perfected" (chub), which corresponds to Siddhartha Gautama's achievement of purifying all obscurations and perfecting or attaining all qualities associated with a buddha. Skt बोधि  Tib བྱང་ཆུབ་  Ch 菩提; 悟 and 覺
