How to Use Advanced Search

  • Search by BCA Verse: Looking for a specific stanza? Enter the chapter and verse number (e.g., 9.1 or 8.140) in the BCA Verse field to see all related Library resources and Multimedia teachings.
  • Refine by Topic: Use the Topic field to narrow your results to specific concepts such as Buddha-nature, Tonglen, or the Six Perfections.
  • Search Logic:
    • AND: Finds resources that match all your selected criteria (more specific).
    • OR: Finds resources that match any of your selected criteria (broader).





Search Type:


Bodhicitta - The altruistic thought to seek enlightenment for the sake of all sentient beings. It is said to have two aspects: compassion aimed at sentient beings and their problems and the wisdom of enlightenment as the solution. Skt बोधिचित्त  Tib བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས།  Ch 菩提心
