English

I take refuge in whoever harms me, as he is the source of all happiness. In the beginning, this may seem difficult to put into practice. But to have a truly good heart is something for which everyone has the capacity. Take all the suffering of the person ·harming you into your heart, and send him your own happiness, with great compassion. With the same attitude, you can also offer a water torma, the burnt-offering of sur, and the visualization practice of giving away your body as an offering to the Three Jewels, a present to the Dharma protectors, a gift to suffering sentient beings, and repayment of your karmic debts to harmful spirits and obstacle-makers. 67See note 60 on the practice of Chöd.
