English

Those who savor the sheer joy of Dharma practice through having given up all concern for this life are extremely rare. If you start teaching about turning away from relatives, possessions, house, land, and other enjoyments of this life, people start to look like a donkey that has been hit on the head with a stick. Their faces darken, they feel uncomfortable and uneasy, and would rather not listen at all.
