| English | By tranquility alone knowledge will not become pure—nor also will the darkness of the obscurations be dispelled. On the other hand, if one correctly meditates on truth with wisdom, knowledge will become very pure. By that very wisdom, truth itself will be realized. By that very wisdom, the obscurations will be properly removed. And on account of seeing this, one reflects, “Established in tranquility, I should pursue the truth by means of wisdom. Tranquility on its own should not be taken as sufficient.” |
