| English | Thus, the previous sūtra negates a self that is different from the aggregates, as non-Buddhists claim. The latter sūtra negates a self that is the aggregates as well, as most of our Buddhist schools claim. According to the Prāsaṅgikas, the import of the words “following the view of these five aggregates” is the observed object of the innate view of self that is the mere self that is designated in dependence on the aggregates. This is taught as the support of karmic causality since it presents a clear organization of the sūtras.
