When the infusers become oriented toward their own cessation, they are the potency that deposits predispositions according with their causes—virtue, vice, and undetermined actions. The infused ground is the support, the basic consciousness. It has these five qualities: It is not unsupported, like lightning, but is continuously supporting. It can become infused with all predispositions; it is unobscured and undetermined. It can become infused because it is impermanent. The infuser and the infused ground have a relationship of simultaneous arising and ceasing. It is the total support of predispositions.

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment.
