For this reason, Nāgārjuna, the second Buddha, saw this discourse—on the meaning of interdependence as the nature of emptiness—as unexcelled, the sublime doctrine superior to that which was spoken by other teachers. Thus, he praised it with amazement. He said in the Praise to the Inconceivable (Acintyastava):
