| English | One might think, “Then entities would not arise at all.” This is not a problem because to negate arising from the four extremes is to negate intrinsic arising, not arising merely conventionally. This is because arising that is merely conventional does not need to arise from any of the four extremes. Moreover, since the conventional arising of things like seeds are dependent arisings in dependence upon causes and conditions, they do not arise from the four extremes. As a consequence of the fact that nothing arises through the four extremes when a designated object is sought out, it is said to be established that merely conventionally there is relational, dependent arising.
