| English | For this reason both benefiting sentient beings and venerating and offering to the victors are no different; they are similar from the aspect that from them, the fruition of the qualities of a buddha, such as the ten powers, are accomplished in one’s continuum. Given this, what kind of custom or tradition is it to respect the victors but not sentient beings? A tradition that makes a distinction by respecting one and not the other is unreasonable.
