English

The mind being frequently virtuous is also the meaning here of develop the power of my faith. It is stated in this way because faith is the forerunner of all positive things and is their root. There are three kinds of faith: aspiring faith that pursues qualities to be attained, inspired faith that is inspired by the qualities of the Three Jewels and so on, and confident faith that has trust in karmic causality. This also illustrates the qualities of the grounds and paths—such as diligence, mindfulness, meditative stabilization, wisdom, love, compassion, and the spirit of awakening. The ideas presented in this text will further and further increase the power of these qualities, leading to the attainment of the highest liberation.
