| English | Thus, attachment and aversion in terms of the eight [worldly] dharmas will perish as a matter of course. [911] There is no question that the learned ones do not give any considerations to the objects that naïve beings cling to, but these [objects] as such do not represent some [intrinsic positive] qualities for these [beings themselves] either. The reason for this is: It seems that, even [among] those beings who are equal in that they are engrossed in all the bondage in the world, grown-ups do not give any importance at all to those things that small children cling to, such as castles made of sand or horses and elephants made of clay. |
