And thanks to the mind’s influence, it cognizes objects. But this brings to nothing their assertion that the self is unaware of objects and is unconscious. For the self has thus acquired the nature of an object cognizer. And in that case, since it has moved from a former state of unconsciousness to a present state of consciousness, it follows that it is impermanent. |
