Then in Shravasti, Lankapuri, and other places, he turned the third wheel of Dharma on the subject of ultimate certainty to disciples of various natures for thirty years. Through this he rejected the views of clinging to existence and nonexistence, as well as eternalism and nihilism, and placed disciples in great enlightenment free from the four extremes. This is the deed of turning the wheel of Dharma.
