English

Advancing toward the Buddha, they threw a ceaseless hailstorm of weapons: mountains, rocks, fire, lightning, weapon wheels, spears, swords, clubs, and arrows. Through the power of loving kindness, the Bodhisattva completely transformed all of these into a harmless offering of flowers that floated gently to the ground. Thus, the forces of mara were completely unable to disturb the Bodhisattva by the manifestation of anger.
