Manjushri, if it were possible for someone to put out the eyes of every sentient being in each of the ten directions, and then someone else with a loving mind were to return the eyes to all of those sentient beings, the merit would be great. Yet it is far greater and more exalted to look with a clear mind toward the Bodhisattvas with the intention to enter the Mahayana path.
