English	Shravakas: Any speech that demonstrates the three precepts, such as being engaged with the sutra, observing the vinaya, and not contradicting the abhidharma, is part of the Buddha’s sermons. But the Mahayana teaching that everything is emptiness negates the three precepts, so it cannot be considered a sermon. Even if you say that a scripture states that without meditating emptiness, ultimate nirvana cannot be attained, that is not a trustworthy sermon.

Bodhisattva - A person who seeks enlightenment for the sake of others. In Mahāyāna Buddhism, a bodhisattva is a compassionate being who is training on the path to buddhahood and aspires to eliminate the suffering of all beings and take all sentient beings to the state of enlightenment.
