He included the words, "I composed it for my own mind’s meditation,” to indicate that he had already composed it in his mind. One may think, "The author has no need to compose it for his own purpose if it’s already in his mind.” The author explains that he has written this text based on the scriptures for the purposes of meditating on the virtues of the two accumulations and familiarizing himself with believing faith in the law of cause and result; clear faith toward those who possess good qualities; and desiring faith to achieve those qualities. By the power of seeing the text, these will increase higher and higher.
