English

Relative phenomena are empty of subject and object. The ultimate realm of reality is not empty because it is characterized by complete freedom from the extremes of existence and non-existence. The nature of emptiness pervades all phenomena, so therefore emptiness is not a separate entity. Phenomena are compounded, yet their nature is uncompounded and their characteristics are not the same, therefore, they are not a singular entity; their characteristic is complete freedom from themselves and from other.
