They also say that the four castes arose from the four parts of Brahma’s body: from the mouth appeared the Brahmans; from the shoulders appeared the kings; from the thighs appeared the nobles; and from the legs appeared the ordinary castes. These beliefs are logically inconsistent because they also believe that all were born from one god. If that were the case, all four castes would be of the same race, as they were born from a single god, like sons born from a single father.
