| English | Some ordinary people, who have a strong attachment to material wealth, spend the whole day cultivating fields and doing agricultural work such as planting grass, or cutting wood. Through these and other mundane tasks they become completely exhausted and weary during the day. When the sun sets, they return home and their exhausted bodies sleep all night like corpses. Soon after awakening, they again engage in mundane activities. Day after day and night after night they experience this suffering. |
